Amsterdam magic stores

Hi Everyone!

I'm a singer from San Francisco who is about to visit your lovely city for the first time! I'm very excited, because I've heard such marvelous things about Amsterdam. Can any of you recommend underground open mics and also occult stores in the area? Music, magic and art are my greatest passions:)

    Hello bettie,
    Amsterdam has similarities with San Francisco, for sure in a small scale.(been there twice!)
    you'll have no problem findind magical stores, they're growing like little mushrooms...haha!
    as for singing in underground, it has'nt florished as much, still...
    if you don't mind the slim financial rewards, then there are places to play live.
    I could probably give you the names of a couple places.

      I didn't find any "occult stores" in my wanders. Lots of bookstores that had occult books mixed in but nothing specifically occult. I would love to know if where any occult stores are for my next trip there.

          I'm going to Amsterdam in the next couple of weeks. I'll definately post the locales of any shops I come across, but yes - if any of you folks on this list know where there are some let us know!

              Just got back! Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen! But I didn't find any magic stores:(

    - Kashmir Lounge Club - Jan-Pieter Heijestraat
    - Frontier Bookshop - Leliegracht
    - Vondelpark & Blijburg (citybeach)
    - Waterlooplein flea market
